Annette Anderson

ResourceSmart Schools Coordinator

I am the Coordinator for the Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL) and the ResourceSmart Schools program across Eastern Metro Melbourne.  I love insects (!), have been involved in ecology, biodiversity and sustainability research for 15 years and sustainability education for 5 years.  I co-founded Environmental Education for Kids (EEK!) with a passion to engage school students and the broader community with their local waterways, biodiversity and associated issues. I am passionate about a sustainable future and believe that we need to educate, engage and facilitator schools and community to achieve this.

As the EASL and ResourceSmart Schools Coordinator, I am really excited to work with our Facilitators and local councils to help schools on their sustainability journey.

Jessie Panazzolo

ResourceSmart Schools Facilitator for Whitehorse, Boroondara and Manningham Councils

Hi I'm Jessie! I am EASL’s new ResourceSmart Schools Facilitator for schools in Whitehorse, Manningham and Boroondara council regions. I have a background in conservation ecology and have worked in tropical rainforests studying wildlife conservation across seven equatorial countries. Following my research, I transitioned into a career in sustainability education, most recently with EcoExplorers and the Gould League. I am excited to integrate a collaborative and supportive community mindset into my RSS schools so no teacher feels as if they have to go through the program alone.
