Nothing warms our hearts more than great sustainable schools getting recognised for their hard work!
On the 15th December Monbulk Primary School celebrated their momentous achievement of becoming a 5 star ResourceSmart School. RSS facilitator, Cindy McFarlane, and EASL coordinator, Annette Anderson, had the pleasure of presenting the school with their 5-star sign from Sustainability Victoria.
The presentation by RSS 2023 Teacher of the Year, Danielle Lamport, graciously acknowledged the efforts of many staff, student, and community members that helped them achieved this milestone. After the assembly students and their families celebrated the occasion with a picnic on the local oval. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and we look forward to seeing what Monbulk Primary School achieve next in their mission to achieve sustainability.
