Are you interested in sustainability? Join us for an early years Teacher Environment Network (TEN) meeting kindly hosted by Eildon Parade Kindergarten.
Our TEN will involve:
Alannah Easton is a landscape architect passionate about biodiversity and habitat creation. She started the Plant the Seed incursion program for schools and early years that involves students in planting a habitat garden with their grounds. They learn about indigenous plants that provide food and shelter to make the perfect home for our native wildlife. Students take pride in having created something that they can watch grow and observe what animals decide to move in and make it their home. It’s a great opportunity to connect children to our environment through hands-on learning.
