Meet The Team!

Annette Anderson

ResourceSmart Schools Coordinator

I am the Coordinator for the Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL) and the ResourceSmart Schools program across Eastern Metro Melbourne. I love insects (!), have been involved in ecology, biodiversity and sustainability research for 15 years and sustainability education for 5 years. I co-founded Environmental Education for Kids (EEK!) with a passion to engage school students and the broader community with their local waterways, biodiversity and associated issues. I am passionate about a sustainable future and believe that we need to educate, engage and facilitator schools and community to achieve this.

As the EASL and ResourceSmart Schools Coordinator, I am really excited to work with our Facilitators and local councils to help schools on their sustainability journey.

Emma Ham

ResourceSmart Schools Facilitator for Boroondara and Whitehorse Councils.

Lovely to meet you, my name is Emma. I am the ResourceSmart Schools facilitator for Whitehorse and Boroondara. I studied Environmental Management, chasing a lifelong dream of becoming a reporter on ‘Totally Wild’! I have experience in habitat restoration and environmental education, where I presented ‘Healthy Rivers, Healthy Bays’ to school and community groups. I was also part of one of Australia’s largest outdoor retailers where I sold bikes, eventually, moving into buying, sourcing hardgoods for over 25 stores. A fascinating insight into global production. I’m now proud to support local manufacturing and slow fashion, working with a Melbourne fashion designer. I love swimming in the ocean, hiking over mountains and adventures with my children. I am passionate about environmental education and look forward to helping you embed sustainability in your school!
